International Roadcheck 2025 Coming May 13-15

International Roadcheck 2025 Coming May 13-15

The CVSA International Roadcheck returns this May with enhanced focus on RODS (record of duty status) and tire safety. The 37-point, high-visibility inspection is designed to keep drivers and fleet managers aware of critical safety and compliance issues. Hours of Service and documentation will play an important role as usual, and vehicle condition inspections will include many key components such as:

  • Brakes
  • Cargo securement
  • Coupling devices
  • Driveline/driveshaft components
  • Fuel and exhaust systems
  • Lighting devices
  • Steering mechanisms
  • Suspension
  • Wheels, rims, and hubs
  • And especially tires

Results from the 2024 International Roadcheck included over 20% of vehicles being placed out of service (and nearly 5% of drivers.) That’s nearly 10,000 trucks out of service, with more than 13,000 vehicle violations and more than 2,700 driver violations. Don’t risk road safety, operational reliability, or costly out-of-service time and fines. Get prepared for Roadcheck and other inspections as soon as possible.
